Welcome to ArtbyJens.com. These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through ArtbyJens.com and provide information regarding orders, payments, shipping, Fine Art Prints, original artworks, returns and withdrawals.
By placing an order through ArtbyJens.com, you agree to the terms set out below.
1. Seller
Artworks and Fine Art Prints available through ArtbyJens.com are sold by:

2. Products
ArtbyJens offers original artworks and Fine Art Prints created from original artworks by Jens Strandell.
Product images are intended to represent the artwork as accurately as possible. However, colors may vary slightly depending on screen settings, lighting and the characteristics of the original artwork or printed material.
Dimensions and other relevant product information are stated on the individual product page.
Original Artworks
Unless otherwise stated, original artworks are unique, one-of-one pieces and only one original of each artwork is available.
Fine Art Prints
Fine Art Prints are professionally produced using high-quality archival materials.
Where a print is described as a Limited Edition, the stated edition size applies to the specific format or size shown on the product page.
Each numbered Limited Edition Fine Art Print is individually numbered and hand-signed by Jens Strandell.
Once all numbered prints within a particular edition have been sold, no additional prints will be produced as part of that same edition.
3. Pricing
All prices are displayed in the currency shown on ArtbyJens.com at the time of purchase.
The total price of your order, including any applicable shipping charge, will be displayed before payment is completed.
For international orders, additional import duties, customs charges, taxes or other fees may be imposed by the destination country. Unless otherwise stated, these charges are not included in the purchase price or shipping charge and are the responsibility of the buyer.
4. Payment
Payment is made through the payment methods available at checkout.
Payments are processed securely by the relevant payment provider. ArtbyJens does not store complete payment card information.
An order is considered received when the checkout process has been successfully completed and an order confirmation has been generated.
If there is an obvious error regarding price, availability or product information, ArtbyJens reserves the right to contact the buyer before fulfilling the order.
Shipping & Delivery
5. Shipping
Orders are shipped from Sweden.
Available shipping methods and shipping costs are displayed during checkout and may vary depending on the destination and the size or type of artwork ordered.
Fine Art Prints may be shipped flat or in protective packaging or mailing tubes depending on their format and destination.
Original artworks are packed individually using packaging appropriate for the artwork and destination.
Every reasonable effort is made to ensure that artwork is adequately protected during transportation.
6. Processing Times
Fine Art Prints may be produced individually after an order is received.
As each Fine Art Print is personally produced, inspected, signed and numbered by the artist, a short processing period may be required before shipment.
Estimated processing or delivery times shown on ArtbyJens.com are estimates and are not guaranteed delivery dates unless explicitly stated otherwise.
If an unexpected delay occurs, the buyer may be contacted using the email address provided with the order.
7. International Orders, Customs & Import Charges
ArtbyJens ships internationally to available destinations shown during checkout.
Orders shipped outside Sweden may be subject to local customs procedures.
For destinations outside the European Union in particular, the recipient may be required to pay import duties, customs fees, local taxes or handling charges before delivery.
Any applicable import duties, customs charges or local taxes are the responsibility of the buyer unless explicitly stated otherwise at checkout.
ArtbyJens is not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities or local import procedures.
8. Damaged Shipments
Please inspect your order as soon as possible after delivery.
If an artwork or Fine Art Print arrives damaged, please contact contact@artbyjens.com as soon as possible and include:
- Your order number
- A description of the damage
- Photographs of the damaged artwork or print
- Photographs of the packaging, including any visible external damage
Please retain all original packaging until the matter has been resolved.
Transport damage will be assessed individually and we will work with you to find an appropriate solution.
Returns & Withdrawal
9. 14-Day Right of Withdrawal
ArtbyJens provides a 14-day right of withdrawal for eligible purchases made through ArtbyJens.com.
The withdrawal period begins the day after you receive your order.
You do not need to provide a reason for exercising your right of withdrawal.
To notify ArtbyJens that you wish to withdraw from your purchase, please use the Withdraw from Purchase form available on ArtbyJens.com.

Your notification must clearly state that you wish to withdraw from the purchase and should include sufficient information to identify your order.
10. Returning an Order
After notifying ArtbyJens that you wish to withdraw from your purchase, the item should be returned within the applicable return period.
The artwork or Fine Art Print must be packaged carefully and securely to protect it during return transportation.
Whenever possible, we strongly recommend using the original protective packaging.
Unless otherwise agreed or required by applicable law, the buyer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the order.
The buyer is responsible for ensuring that the returned item is packaged appropriately and correctly addressed.
We strongly recommend using a traceable and insured shipping method appropriate for the value of the artwork and retaining proof of shipment until the return has been completed.
Please contact ArtbyJens before returning an artwork in order to receive the correct return address and relevant return information.
11. Condition and Care of Returned Artwork
Original artworks and Fine Art Prints must be handled with exceptional care while in the buyer’s possession.
You may inspect the artwork only to the extent reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and condition. The artwork should not be handled, displayed, installed, mounted, framed, altered or otherwise used beyond what is reasonably necessary for such inspection.
Original Artworks
Original paintings are unique, one-of-one works of art and cannot be replaced or reproduced as original artworks.
The buyer is therefore responsible for handling an original artwork with particular care. Any damage or alteration — including scratches, dents, pressure marks, stains, moisture damage, paint damage, damage to the canvas, frame or edges, modifications to the hanging system, punctures, tears or other physical changes — may significantly reduce the value of the artwork.
If an original artwork has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it and this results in a loss of value, ArtbyJens reserves the right to make an appropriate deduction from the refund corresponding to the actual reduction in value, where permitted by applicable law.
Because original paintings are unique one-of-one works, significant damage may result in a substantial loss of value. If damage caused while the artwork is in the buyer’s possession renders the artwork unsellable in its original condition — for example, a puncture or tear to the canvas — the reduction in value may amount to a substantial part of, or potentially the entire value of, the artwork.
Any deduction will be based on the actual loss in value and assessed individually in accordance with applicable law.
Fine Art Prints
Fine Art Prints must also be handled with particular care. Fine Art paper is sensitive to fingerprints, oils, moisture, scratches, creasing, bending, pressure marks and other physical damage.
Prints should not be framed, mounted, trimmed, adhered to another surface, written on or otherwise altered before a decision has been made to keep the artwork.
If a Fine Art Print is returned with damage or alterations resulting from handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it, an appropriate deduction corresponding to the resulting actual loss in value may be made from the refund where permitted by applicable law.
Return Packaging
The buyer is responsible for packaging returned artwork with sufficient care to protect it during return transportation.
Whenever possible, we strongly recommend using the original protective packaging in which the artwork was delivered.
Any reduction in value will be assessed individually based on the condition of the returned artwork and the circumstances of the return.
12. Refunds
When an eligible purchase is withdrawn, the applicable refund will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless otherwise agreed.
For a withdrawal covering the complete order, the refund includes the purchase price and the cost of the standard delivery option applicable to the original order, where required by applicable law.
Additional delivery costs resulting from the buyer choosing a more expensive shipping method than the standard shipping option are not necessarily refundable.
The direct cost of returning the order is the responsibility of the buyer as described above.
Where permitted by applicable law, ArtbyJens may wait to issue the refund until the returned goods have been received or the buyer has provided evidence that the goods have been sent back.
If the artwork has suffered a reduction in value resulting from handling beyond what was reasonably necessary to inspect it, an appropriate value reduction may be deducted from the refund where permitted by applicable law.
13. Limited Edition Prints & Returns
The fact that a Fine Art Print forms part of a numbered Limited Edition does not by itself prevent an otherwise eligible withdrawal.
If a numbered Fine Art Print is returned in acceptable condition, that specific edition number may subsequently be made available for sale again.
A returned Limited Edition Print should not be altered, written on, mounted, framed, cut, trimmed, damaged or otherwise modified by the buyer.
If such handling causes an actual reduction in value, an appropriate deduction may be made from the refund where permitted by applicable law.
14. Personalized or Custom-Made Artwork
Different withdrawal rules may apply to artwork or products that are made specifically according to a customer’s individual instructions or are clearly personalized.
This may include, for example, commissioned paintings, personalized artwork or prints produced according to unique customer specifications.
Where a product is considered personalized or custom-made and therefore subject to different withdrawal conditions, this will be clearly communicated where applicable.
Order Issues & Customer Service
15. Incorrect Orders
If you receive an item different from what you ordered, please contact:

Please include your order number and photographs where relevant so that the issue can be investigated.
16. Unclaimed or Undeliverable Shipments
The buyer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address when placing an order.
If an order is returned because an incorrect or incomplete address was provided, delivery was refused, or the shipment was not collected, additional shipping costs may apply if the order needs to be sent again.
Any refund or reshipment will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the individual order.
Collector Registry
17. Strandell Collector Registry
Eligible original artworks and numbered Fine Art Prints may be registered by their owners in the official Strandell Collector Registry at ArtbyJens.com.
Registration creates a documented connection between the artwork or numbered print and its collector.
Collector Registry registration does not affect any rights relating to the purchase.
Intellectual Property
18. Copyright & Reproduction
All artwork, images and designs by Jens Strandell remain protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.
Purchasing an original artwork or Fine Art Print transfers ownership of the physical artwork or print only.
Unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing, the purchase does not transfer copyright, reproduction rights, commercial usage rights or other intellectual property rights associated with the artwork.
Artwork and Fine Art Prints may not be reproduced, commercially distributed or used to create derivative commercial products without prior written permission.
General Terms
19. Changes to These Terms
These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time.
The terms applicable to an order are generally those made available in connection with the purchase at the time the order was placed.
20. Applicable Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Swedish law, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights that may apply to the buyer under applicable national or international consumer protection legislation.
