Fine Art Print Care
Your Art by Jens Fine Art Print is produced using professional pigment inks and premium Fine Art paper, chosen for exceptional colour, detail and longevity.
Like any work of art on paper, careful handling and proper framing will help preserve its appearance for years to come.
Handle with care
Always handle your print by the edges and avoid touching the printed surface. Natural oils and moisture from your hands can leave marks on Fine Art paper.
Clean, dry hands are recommended, or preferably clean cotton or nitrile gloves when handling the print before framing.
Unpacking your print
Your print is carefully protected and rolled for transport inside its packaging.
When unpacking, place it on a clean, dry and smooth surface. Remove the protective materials carefully and allow the print to relax naturally before framing.
Avoid placing heavy objects directly on the printed surface in an attempt to flatten it.
Protect the surface
Fine Art paper has a carefully coated surface designed to hold pigment inks with exceptional detail and colour reproduction.
Avoid rubbing, scratching or applying adhesive tape directly to the printed surface. Do not attempt to clean the print with water, cleaning products or a damp cloth.
Framing
For long-term display, we strongly recommend professionally framing your Fine Art Print behind protective glass or acrylic.
For the best possible protection, choose glazing with UV protection, which helps reduce the effects of prolonged exposure to ultraviolet light.
The printed surface should ideally not be in direct contact with the glass or acrylic. A passepartout or suitable spacer can create a small separation between the artwork and the glazing.
Whenever possible, use acid-free, archival-quality mounting and backing materials.
Display environment
Avoid displaying your print in direct sunlight or in areas exposed to excessive heat, humidity or rapid temperature changes.
Even when UV-protective glazing is used, avoiding prolonged direct sunlight provides the best conditions for preserving the artwork.
Made to be collected
Each Art by Jens Fine Art Print is created as a piece of art rather than a conventional poster. With thoughtful handling, quality framing and the right display environment, it can be enjoyed and preserved for many years to come.
Treat it as you would an original work of art.
